Today is a really different post to what I usually do! Today me and Tess teamed up to style the embroidery trend in two different ways and are each bringing our own views on it through our separate channels! So if you want to see what Tess has to say on it then head over to her blog here! What also makes this a super fun and diverse post is that not only is Tess more petite than me, but she’s also pregnant so you’re getting some really different styling tips today!

Embroidery Meets Pregnancy Style
Tess is a good friend of mine as well as being a Swedish fashion and lifestyle blogger based in the UK. She blogs daily, sometimes even twice a day – the lady is insane! She’s also now pregnant which is super exciting and I for one can’t wait to see more of her maternity style and how she wears things. Take this look for example, she’s got an oversized shirt and pinned it to make it a crossover top, perfectly displaying her bump, but for days when she wants to hide it she can easily let it down and wear it oversized. I actually love this idea and would totally try it on one of my own shirts, who said you can’t wear pregnancy style when you’re not pregnant?! Make sure you check her out on Instagram for her #bumpfies!
Embroidery Trend Meets Minimal Basics
You know by now how minimal I am when it comes to trends so it shouldn’t be a surprise to you that when I first planned this look that tiny little embroidered wording is all I planned to include. Last minute I decided to slip on my new Next loafers which are major embroidery shoe goals. I love a statement shoe for making a simple look more statement and these are so perfect. I’m totally falling for mules right now, I think I have about 5 pairs? Average amount right?!

I’m totally loving that embroidery is back in business and can’t get enough of both of the looks in your post!

Hey hun! Yes! In general I have started editing my pics differently but these came out strangely as we used a photographer and I think she edited them too!
I love both of your takes on this trend! Obsessing over embroidered everything at the moment and may have just added a similar pair of embroidered mules to my wardrobe!
