OK so I know I kind of let it slip after my first instalment of wedding wednesdays but let’s just say that it might not be every wednesday, but if it’s wedding related then it will be on a wednesday, OK?
So this week I want to ask you guys opinion. I’ve sorted the venue and I’ve got my eye on a dress – more details to follow – but what I’m really torn on is shoes. Are there rules? Should they be white? Should they be closed toe? Should they be heeled? Or does it quite frankly, not matter at all?
THE WHITE WEDDING SHOES DILEMMA
So this all began when I thought that buying a pair of wedding shoes could come under the helpful guise of buying myself a new pair of beautiful Dior shoes, you know, the ones that are everywhere with the printed straps? Those.
Now they do sell said shoe in white but they’re white patent and I can’t say I’m the biggest fan of either white or patent in a shoe . . not the best thing when you’re looking at bridal shoesI have to admit. Then they have nude which could be passable being incognito and super simple but do you know what? They’re bloody patent and I don’t want patent wedding shoes, is that too much to ask?
So then I see said shoe style in the perfect height, nude mesh with a covered black heel and diamante detailing, are you kidding me, I’ve fallen in love with a pair of shoes and they must be mine. Only issue is they’re £960 which is an outrageous amount for a pair of shoes and I wouldn’t normally allow myself to even contemplate the idea of such an extravagant purchase but honestly, isn’t anything acceptable if it’s got the word wedding attached to it? So here’s my issue, they still might not be quite suitable. I need your help. I need your justifications and most of all I need your enabling!
If you’ve seen any wedding appropriate shoes then guys what are you waiting for? Leave me links and images in the comments below, insta message me, tweet me, pin me, blog me, youtube me .. show . me . the . shoes.

How To Steal Meghan Markles Style
I’m not really that girl that knows anything about weddings – however, in my opinion I reckon the black Dior slingbacks would look AWESOME with a typical white dress, not to mention you’d wear them after the day, maybe unlike a typical “wedding shoe”. My bestie wore purple satin high-heeled pumps with crystal skull embellishment under her beautiful white wedding dress and she looked kick ass!
Full disclaimer: I too am obsessed with those Dior shoes so I’m totally biased.
