Levis Denim Top To Toe

Levis denim, two words that can’t not go together.

Can you even imagine that a brand is so iconic that they’ve actually claimed a material?!

A couple of weeks ago I was invited to the Levis showroom to combat my Blue Monday blues, turned out it was a pretty good Monday as far as monday’s go, to pick out some Levis denim and turn that frown upside down.

Obviously I got outrageously carried away and came home with an entire new denim wardrobe but to me there were 2 standout pieces that I just had to show you in the form of a good old fashioned texan tuxedo, the double denim flex.

Levis Denim

So we’ve established that Levis denim is the best plus they do really cute tank tops, slogan tees and sweatshirts. But you may be surprised to know as an avid denim obsessor I actually never owned a pair of Levis jeans before. I always saw them as old school and a bit vintage. I love the cut of shorts and basically live in them all summer long but the jeans I just had this image in my head of really just plain denim. I was so wrong.

First of all lets just appreciate how incredible this shearling trucker jacket is and how we all probably need one in our lives, me too right?! Then lets move on to all of the incredible styles. We only saw a selection in the showroom but honestly the options are endless, there literally is something for everyone. Levis denim is also amazing quality and so much better and more comfortable than other brands that almost feel like leggings. I like proper denim.

Levis also have tailor shops in certain stores where you can take your pieces to be personalised. Whether it’s being tailored to get the perfect fit or adding patches/badges/scuffs, making it look distressed, chopping arms off, basically you can personalise the hell out go any Levis denim you’ve managed to get your hands on.

Levis Altered Range

Funnily enough both the jacket and the jeans I picked out are from the Levis Altered range, and both on sale. They’re the classic 501s but they’ve been taken apart and remade to fit perfectly in the skinny high waisted style we all love to wear. If you’ve heard of brands like redone that charge upwards of £150 you might want to start looking into this range. The jeans fit me so so perfectly and the denim jacket is a trucker which has been taken apart and put back together with a cropped, cut off hem, a collarless neckline and skinny sleeves. I adore it. I’m mainly excited to wear this in the summer because I’m picturing it now with a floaty summer dress and it’s all I can think about.
