The Lorna Luxe Collection With In The Style

One of my first blogging friends has created her own clothing line and I for one am so happy about it! The Lorna Luxe collection for In The Style is everything I ever wished for and more! I got to pick out my favourite pieces from the collection and the first thing I wanted to do was share them with you guys! It’s always so inspiring to see “one of us” achieving huge goals within the industry and quite frankly, it’s blummin amazing!

So when Lorna told me she would be launching a collection with In The Style a few weeks back I couldn’t imagine it! Lorna is amazing at mixing luxury pieces with affordable pieces to make her own unique look and now that I’ve seen the collection I can’t even believe I ever had a doubt but when I first found out I was really intrigued to see how Lorna it would be. Given that she has a truly unique style with an emphasis on quality, I was really interested to see how this coupling would go. Well guys, the proof is in the pudding, After oggling Lornas stories over on instagram (check out the highlight of her collection if you missed them first time round) I was desperate to get my hands on everything I was seeing! The backless blouses, the puffed out sleeves and the very Lorna low cut blouses had me counting down the days until the launch. Quite frankly, if she’d tagged Net a Porter I not only would have believed it, but I would have been scouring the site to find the pieces and order.

When it got round to picking my pieces I honestly did an inward cry, 2 outfits?! How can I possibly choose?! For the launch party I picked out that dress which as you’re reading this, I wouldn’t be surprised if it had sold out. Low back, high neck and puff shoulders in my favourite colour to wear, blue. One thing I should also mention is that Lorna is a small breasted gal like me so if you’re the same then you just know she’ll have designed everything to be super flattering in that area.

For my second outfit I picked the jeans, of course, I’m a denim addict and I always think that jeans are a good testament to how good a brand or collection is. These didn’t disappoint, I wasn’t sure about the waistband when I first got them but on they are super flattering and now I’m hoping she releases them in more shade, dark grey next please Lorna! I got these in a size 10 and they look fine on the leg because of the fit and style but I for sure could have got away with an 8. For the jumper I got a size 8 and because of the tie waist you can make it as fitted and high necked or loose and low necked as you like depending on the outfit and occasion, of course I went low and loose because, you know me. Add my Chanel bag and Balenciaga trainers and you’d be looking on Net a Porter new in for this jumper too wouldn’t you?!
