The Luxury Swimwear Brand You Need To Know About

Let me start this post by saying that I’m super picky when it comes to swimwear. My usual favourites are Calzedonia and Revolve and I tend to stick to what I know because as a small breasted lady with not a lot of shape, it’s hard to accentuate a figure that doesn’t exist, I need miracles people!

So when I was kindly offered a gift for my trip to Thailand from Paolita Swim I hesitantly scoured the lookbook with not a lot of hope, only to find a new favourite to add to my list. The print reminds me of a mixture of Dolce & Gabanna and Versace, very luxe and Italian. And the style is super flattering with the option of a detachable strap to give you a little lift, I can imagine that would be a good feature if you had something to lift!

One thing I loved the most about this Paolita swimsuit was the fact that I felt super comfortable in it outside of the water. Of course it’s important for your swimwear to be functional and for it to stay up when you’re swimming and keep everything in place but I feel that outside of the water should be just as important. I’ve found in recent times that the only swimsuits I like are completely butt bearing and sometimes, like on a press trip, you just don’t want your arse hanging out for the world to see. I get that it’s sexy on the gram and tan lines aren’t appreciated, call me prude but there’s a time and a place for it and I really appreciated the fact that this beautiful costume had been cut not only flatteringly, but modestly. Keeping my dignity and feeling chic all at the same time, who’d have thought it!?
