Hey guys!
Today I wanted to talk to you about Dior Beauty. Though most designer brands now have their own range of skincare, make up or as with Dior, both, it’s hard to know if the products are really worth the price tags or if it’s just a case of buying into the name which let’s face it, we’re all guilty of when it comes to fashion, me included. I have to admit that even when it comes to beauty, I see my favourite instagrammer with a shiny bottle in beautiful packaging and instantly I want, no need it too. So since I recently had an amazing delivery (gifted) of Dior beauty, including the Dior Backstage make up range, i thought I’d give you the low down on my thoughts and if I think it’s really worth it.

MONDAY BEAUTY : Dior Backstage
I’ve been using the Dior Backstage foundation for well over 6 months now, as it happens I’m this close to finishing my first bottle of the Backstage foundation and I’m 100% going to be replacing it. So we already know that ones a hit with me, it goes on super light and whilst still showing my freckles and giving the natural sun kissed look that I always hope for, it lasts all day.
The primer is a new one for me, you guys probably know that I’ve been an avid user of the Nivea mens post shave balm as my go to primer for years now and since using the Dior Backstage primer I’ve not used anything else. I love the way it goes on as it actually feels hydrating and smells lovely like skincare rather than just the glue to stick your make up on with. Plus, it helps that it does stick my make up to my face like glue.
My favourite pieces from the range have to be the palettes, as I said before I’m a sucker for aesthetics and these monogram palettes are almost too good to use. The day the Dior faded from the highlight palette was a sad day indeed. The lip palette is the perfect range of shades and between them all with a little bit of artistic colour blending I can always get the perfect shade of nude I’m after. I’ve also got a favourite in the glow palette which I’m pretty much over the moon about now having the other shade range of. Now I have all bases covered!
Of course with things like serums you need at least a month to be able to tell how something is working but I chose the capture youth glow booster serum to test run and so far so good, I’ve been using it for about a week and a half now and I know it’s too early for any major signs but one huge thing is that my skin hasn’t had any adjustment issues! Some products make me break out immediately as I have sensitive skin and this has been a dream to use. I can even tell that my skin is starting to look slightly brighter with a fresher looking complexion!
Finally the JOY perfume, something I’ve been using on and off for a while now and love. I’m super happy to be stocked up on one of my favourite summer scents!
