Hey guys!
I wanted to introduce a new weekly series, Monday beauty! I’ve always wanted to incorperate more beauty on here as it’s hard for me to find the right platform to share these things, so I hope that you like it and if there’s anything you want me to cover just let me know. Otherwise I’ll be talking about my favourite products, what I use for what, empties, new in and basically anything beauty that catches my eye or gets me excited! I’m not a major beauty guru or even an inch of a beauty guru come to that! I am however a normal girl who get sent a shed ton of beauty products to try, so I thought if I could help you to make some decisions on what I think is the best I’ve tried or what’s new out and good then why not!
Today, I’m sure you’ve guessed by the title, I wanted to talk to you about holiday lips.

Holiday Lips
Holiday beauty in general is super minimal. For me it is anyway! I always find myself not wanting to put as much on and wanting to go for a natural glowy look rather than the full out glam. Not that I’m a full out glam kinda gal anyway you know! I was kindly gifted some of the new lip products from L’occitane a few weeks back and in a packing rush and moment of spontaneity I threw them into my make up bag before my trip to Mykonos. I don’t know why but for some reason I’m always more inclined to try my new shiny things when I go away.
As it turned out, these two products are your holiday lips solution and pretty much everything you need. Want something extra? They also have a buildable moisturising lipstick available on site, these were enough for me though, keeping it minimal right? One of the main issues I have with my lips on holiday is keeping them hydrated and stopping them from looking like a wall that’s been half stripped of wall paper – great analogy right? It doesn’t matter how many litres of water I guzzle my lips never seem to get a look in and they’re eternally dry. Luckily I’ve found a pretty tasty solution to this pretty ugly problem in the form of a lip scrub, so cute and tasty that you could be forgiven for mistaking it for one of those miniature jam pots, I mean, Fabulous Fig? Yum! It looks like jam, it tastes like jam and it cures the dreaded chapped lips. Everyones a winner here.
The final step in this extensive two step programme is the tinted lip balm. A tinted lip balm is the ultimate holiday lips solution because not only is it soothing and hydrating but it adds a bit of colour to your lips. Both are super tiny and handbag sized, and like the jam looking scrub, the lip balm also has a delicious taste to it. This ones Carrot fizz and I’ve got to tell you I’m not big on carrots but this is nice. It’s more of an orange, fresh taste with a tiny hint of carrot. The orange tinted balm comes out beautifully with my lip colour to give a warm glow, basically your lips but better.
